Bonjour! Just back from 3 weeks in France and Italy. It rained only 2 days in Paris; otherwise, it was sunny and clear. I forgot how stylish people dress and it looks so effortless. Let's look at the French today and next week, the Italians. Most of the photos below were shot on the weekends, when the streets and shops are crowded. I'll admit it wasn't easy to take photos without looking like some weirdo but let's take a look.

Inside the bright and newly refurbished Notre-Dame Cathedral of Paris. Turns out, wearing a beret is a real thing - I saw at least a handful each day. This young woman looks like she just walked out of a photo shoot.

Turns out, visiting musuems is huge for Parisians on Sundays. Outside the Petit Palais, that's me (in orange) looking like I'm taking a selfie. I really wanted a photo of the beautifully dressed woman behind me. Everyone was in a raincoat but don't you love her accessories and her oh-so-French striped top?

Inside the Petit Palais, looking good right down to her chunky boots. She's wearing her nails short and red. The only other option I saw was short and buffed. And don't get me started on the natural looking makeup.

The E. Dehillerin Nateriel de Cuisine cookware store has been in business since 1820 with aisles and aisles of all things cooking. Two good looks side by side. Love the cream fleece jacket and hat and the young man's hair cut and black outfit.

A styish couple on a chillish day rides the Paris Metro.

At the Milan train station, I overheard this couple speaking French. Such style.

On high speed train (184 mph) from Paris south to Aix en Provence, Traveled with Jim (pictured) and John. We've all been friends for 33 years. I spied Louis Vuitton luggage at least once on each train ride. And on the streets, LV Speedy bags being used by women in their 20's to their 80's.

Looking good at a madeleine shop in Aix.

Handsome raincoats and the world largest Frenchie in Aix. Frenchies and mini dacshunds seem to be THE dogs in France, a terrific fashion accessory. Hope you have a wonderful Sunday!
